Besides, there are also other six wards with management services, x-rays, consulting rooms, operations and laboratories and another occupied by French nuns of the congregation of San Jose de Tarbes. The 27th of march, 1939, the municipal Council of the Irribaren District assigns to the "Hospital de la Caridad" the name of Antonio Maria Pineda, in recognition to the inseparable relationship that always has existed between this character, the old hospital and the development of medicine and health in the state of Lara, in Venezuela.

Two years later, on October 5th, 1941 at the age of 70, Pineda passes by in Barquisimeto, having completed a fulfilling life devoted to service his city.
