BARQUISIMETO MUSEUM

RESTORE TO GROWTH ( 1 OF 2 )

Since 1974 a series of steps are taken to found the Museum of the Center Occidental Region of Venezuela. The building and the terrain of the old Hospital de la Caridad were rescued and restored thanks to the intervention of many authorities and institutions. They made of it the actual Museo de Barquisimeto which was opened in 1982. The museum is in charge of the Museo de Barquisimeto Foundation since the 15th of December of 1987.
